If you want to keep a copy of the messages on the server, for when you use a POP client such as Outlook, and can thus download the emails from several computers, follow these steps:
- Open the Outlook
- Tools> Accounts
- Select the account you want to configure and click Properties
- Click on Advanced options
- Check the box "Keep a copy of the messages on the server"
- To accept
If you want to always work with messages from the server without downloading them to your computer, change your settings to use IMAP instead of POP.
